Mousehole Boats at the Harbour Wall

£ 450.00
Mousehole is a pretty fishing village on the Penwith peninsula. It was invaded and sacked by the Spaniards from the Spanish Armada, but has remained much as it was, unspoilt and unaltered. The harbour has not changed and looks as it was portrayed in paintings of a century ago when most people in Mousehole earned their living from fishing for pilchards.

This painting shows the early morning light pouring through the harbour entrance.
